Saybrook Point Inn & Spa in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, continues the culinary quest with their next dinner in their new Cuisine Series: The Macallan Scotch Whisky Dinner.
Join them on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 6:30 PM when they feature one of the world’s most well-known whiskies – The Macallan – in a dinner presided over by an official Macallan Scotch ambassador. Guests will have the opportunity to sample 8-year, 15-year, and 18-year Scotch, as well as their rare cask expression.
The menu for the evening includes:
- Cherry-Smoked Sautéed Salmon Fillet with Moroccan Couscous, Korintje Cinnamon, and Ginger-Currant Buerre Blanc;
- Pork Tenderloin with Indonesian Coffee and Coconut Rub, Colcannon Bleu Cheese Potatoes, Braised Red Cabbage, and Chestnut Sauce;
- Entrecôte of New York Sirloin with Mexican Molé Demi, Trumpet Mushrooms, and Bacon-Seared Brussel Sprouts; and
- Chocolate Souffle topped with Chantilly Cream and drizzled with Matteson’s Connecticut Maple Syrup.
