New York offers an abundance of street art viewing opportunities. Some of my favorites can be found down on East Houston Street around 1st-3rd Avenues (where there are amazing elaborate works of art as you walk down the street). But I didn’t have time to dwell in that area on my latest trip. Instead, I focused on random graffiti findings that caught my eye–many from the bus as we were driving through Brooklyn on our way back into Manhattan–and how they made me feel about the area I was in. I definitely took notice, when many times in the past I might have turned a blind eye and continued on my way. It helped that I was on a bus, not directing my own movement at the time, and could sit back and experience it all.
