It’s been a really long time since I’ve written a Slow Down Saturday post, but I’ve realized that this is becoming more of my life these days–stealing snippets of time to just live in the moment and enjoy all there is to see. Some stop to smell the roses… I stop to watch the people. When you’re alone and you have no time restraints, there’s nothing better than letting the day unfold as it will and following where it leads you. On Wednesday, this meant a meandering through Central Park, sometimes pausing to take in a young man singing his heart out to tourists who ignored his beautiful soul, other times, listening to the comedic urging of a group of young men and finding they are capable of defying gravity. There’s an amazing world out there just waiting for you to slow down and discover it.
