    • Hehe. I wondered if anyone who was at that workshop would say anything. πŸ˜‰ Sadly, natural light was not on my side and I had to use my hack set-up. It needs some work, but it got the job done. πŸ™‚ Thanks!

  1. OMG I just found your blog via #SITSSummer and not sure that it’s a good thing for me because everything looks delicious!! I love picking strawberries – don’t get to do it enough living in NYC. The jam looks delicious!

    • Hehe… if you’re tempted, I’m doing my job right. πŸ˜‰ You may not have many opportunities to pick strawberries in NYC, but the prices you have at your farmers’ markets are amazing! So much more affordable than the farmers sell their berries for around here!

  2. Saying hi from July 1 SITS! Love the name of your blog and love this idea for strawberry jam. I use a liqueur I brought back from Mexico with orange overtones to add to my strawberry jam – barely detectable but just enough to give it that different kicked-up flavor. love your photos and your creativity!

Fancied some jam and had frozen berries in but no lemons so after looking online, I used the food type of white vinegar. Worked really well and almost set too much. I made a small quantity as I often throw jars away. Might try with cider vinegar next.
