Those of you who have been here for a while should be familiar with First on the First. It all began with a list of goals–a sort of anti-resolutions list of resolutions to ring in 2011. No plan had come to form: I simply had an idea of some culinary feats I wanted to accomplish at some point during the year and I shared my list with the world.
When I finally started working on the list come summer, Kate at Food Babbles realized she had some similar goals. We decided to team up to tackle them together. The “goals” transformed into a more formal series of challenges, and once we moved the posting date to the first of the month, First on the First was born. Catchy, isn’t it?
A new year will be upon us soon, and with it comes a new set of challenges. Kate and I thought it would be fun to open up our kitchen adventures to all of you this year! Why should we have all the fun? We’re starting with marshmallows for January 1, 2012. If you’ve never made them before–or simply want to cook along with us–drop us a line and let us know. Schedule your post for January 1st, 2012 at 8:00 A.M. Eastern Time to take part in the party. We’ll be setting up a blog hop and once it gets closer to January 1st, we’ll email you the link code so you can add your confection to the celebration. If you don’t have a blog, that doesn’t mean you’re left out! Feel free to comment on my or Kate‘s post, sharing your experience with all of us.
Let’s make 2012 a year to remember!
Sounds like fun!
