Blood and Sand: Tipsy Tuesday

  • 1 ounce blended Scotch whisky
  • 1 ounce sweet red vermouth
  • 1 ounce cherry liqueur (not kirsch--think cherry brandy)
  • 1 ounce orange juice (fresh is nice, but not necessary)
  1. Chill a martini glass, coupe, or rocks glass.
  2. Add the whisky, vermouth, cherry liqueur, and orange juice to a cocktail shaker full of ice, cover, and shake for 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into the chilled glass and enjoy.
  4. Multiply as necessary
You can garnish with an orange peel, orange slice, or a maraschino cherry...but no points will be taken off for serving it simply.
