    Carrie, Your blog always makes me soooo hungry!! I am a Fudgy brownie girl, myself. I have yet to try browning butter. I think Im a bit intimidated, but you make me want to try it out!! πŸ™‚

    • As long as you pay attention, browning the butter is pretty easy. Just know that it will go through two stages of foaming up before it’s ready. If you get scared, you can always take it off the burner early but, like caramel, you’re better off waiting, if you can.

    • Ah, but you see, I don’t keep box mixes in the house. It forces my hand to make it from scratch. πŸ˜‰ (Which I must keep doing because I still haven’t found *THE* recipe yet that captures everything I love about boxed brownies–sad, isn’t it?)

    Ahh, I don’t know which I loved more- the brownies or the browned butter! That, or the fact that this recipe arrived out of sheer will πŸ™‚ Thankfully they were more than worth the trouble! I love it when that happens!
