Is anyone else somewhat annoyed by the proud “I Voted Today” badges on Facebook? Yeah, and…? Does that make you a better person than I am because I’m trapped home with 4 children 7 and under and therefore have not voted today? Or what if I didn’t want to vote? Am I evil–a witch, to be burned at the stake–a heretic?
It’s sort of like the Pro-Life bumper stickers and Pro-Breastfeeding propaganda that boastfully attempts to belittle those who are not loud and proud as well. Good for you. I don’t give a shit.
So for all of you with your “I Voted Today” stickers or Facebook badges proclaiming your superiority–piss off!
